In 1965, Quality Manufacturing, Inc. started operations in Lexington, Ky. The focus at QMI centered on tool and die design, machining and grinding. Yes, we have changed our strategies and focus over the years, and today we still provide the same Quality service and support, which has been our popular trademark at QMI.
QMI currently concentrates on specialty fabrications, providing our customers with on-site machine design build and maintained production. Many of our assemblies have had requirements of fabrication and finishing, which allows the customer better flexibility by being able to provide needed components and fabrications to complete their product needs!
A current production fabrication process at QMI is the molding and grinding of developer rolls that play a critical function in several models of toner cartridges that are used in assembly processes at QMI and other facilities around the world.
Our development and tooling division is a real asset to our customers with specialty needs. We can offer our customers a lower cost approach than traditional machine build and design groups, with substantially reduced lead times.
